Michael Tabbouche, Executive Director of Ateret Avot, a senior housing complex in the heart of Brooklyn’s Midwood neighborhood, has announced that the complex is undergoing renovation.
Ateret owner Moses Scharf says, “We’re staying ahead of the curve, with changes that will appeal to “todays seniors” making improvements that will offer a better quality of life to residents and families”. Scharf added, “Our residents are excited about the changes and we’re diligently working to minimize the disruptions.”
Designed by Angerame Architects, PC, who specializes in senior living projects, the renovations will include new lighting, walk-in showers, an expansion of the lobby, updated kitchenettes, and the addition of a coffee bar. The project also includes exterior changes, including new signage and landscape improvements.
Tabbouche also shared, “part of our new direction will be to forge partnerships and make a deeper commitment to our community. We want to enhance our seniors’ experience.” Ateret Avot is close to shops, cultural sites, and religious centers.
